Apport: A physical object which appears in a way that cannot be explained.
Astral Projection: To be able to leave your physical body and project your soul, consciousness, or what appears to be your mind to another place and then return. Also called an Out of Body Experience.
Aura: Field of energy that surrounds living things. Appearing to those who can see as a luminous, colorful halo.
Automatic Writing: The ability to write intelligible messages without conscious control or knowledge of what is being written.
Billet Reading: Procedure in which a question is secretly written on a piece of paper which is folded or sealed in an envelope, and handed to the psychic who attempts to answer.

Clairaudience:Hearing voices, astral music or discarnate beings.
Clairvoyance:To have lucid mental perceptions and keen insights about people and life situations. To have clear visual mental images, pictures, or to see auras and other psychic phenomena.
Deja Vu: Certain events and experiences seem as if you are re-experiencing them. As familiar as the experiences are, you cannot recall nor figure out when they happened.
Ghost: A ghost is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that can appear, in visible form or other manifestation, to the living. Often used to indicate a single being. Also: spectre, phantom, apparition, spook.
Ghost Echo: Also called a Spirit Echo is a paranormal hypothesis that proposes a potential explanation for ghosts. It speculates that inanimate materials can absorb energy from living beings. The hypothesis further speculates that this recording of sorts happens during especially intense moments of high tension, such as murder. The energy is later released, resulting in a manifested display of the recording. Rather like a movie.
Intuition: Act of knowing without the use of usual rational processes. Also called a gut feeling.
Paranormal: A general term that designates experiences that lie outside the range of normal experience or scientific explanation or that indicate phenomena understood to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure.
Pre-cognition: Pre-knowing; where non-deductible information about a future event is acquired.
Precognitive Dreams: To have dreams of events or incidents before they happen.
Psychometry:To touch an object with your hands and get information about the object, it's creator, its owner, or it's history.
Scrying: The practice of looking into a translucent ball or other material with the belief that things can be seen. The most common media used are reflective, translucent, or luminescent substances such as crystals, stones, glass, mirrors, water, fire, or smoke.
Spirit:Plane of existence from which paranormal phenomenon originates. The place that is accessed through psychic ability. The realm in which souls exist after crossing over.
Spirit Guide: A term used by the Western tradition of Spiritualist Churches, mediums, and psychics to describe an entity that remains a disincarnate spirit in order to act as a guide or protector to a living human being.
Subliminal Perception:Sensory impressions below the threshold of conscious awareness.
